Taylor Cornets are made to order only. There are two models to choose from, the Zeus and the Orpheus. We now offer both of these in their new Mark 2 guise. The layout has been improved by putting the main tuning slide in a forward facing position. This makes the cornet more comfortable to hold, and improves the look of the instrument as well. |
The Orpheus is an ML bore (.460") instrument, and though still a substantial Cornet, it is lighter than its bigger brother the Zeus. It is lighter in nature as well, a more subtle and sweeter sounding instrument. A very flexible all rounder that is also very easy and rewarding to play. As each Cornet is made to order there is plenty of scope to personalise your instrument to suit your own tastes.
